Sanitize a prompt, send it to the model, and restore the reply

Replace personal and corporate identifiers in your browser before pasting into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, then paste the reply back to restore the original values from the local legend.

Everything runs in this tab. The local legend holds the original values in memory only: it is never stored or transmitted, and Refresh or Reset clears it.

Prepare and redact the prompt

Write or paste your request with real data on the left. On the right you get the prompt ready to paste into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.

Names require a listed given name plus a surname. Unusual addresses and single first names can remain. Always review the prompt before sending.

Now paste the copied prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. If a match below is a false positive, click Restore to put the original text back. When the model replies keeping the markers, move to Step 03.

Paste the response from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini on the left. Every marker still in the legend is replaced with its original value on the right.

What to do before a model sees the text

Prompts, logs and tickets copied into an external chat often carry emails, phone numbers, tax identifiers and keys. This tool replaces them with stable placeholders, [EMAIL_1] or [CF_1], and does not send the text anywhere.

The legend stays in the tab so you can check each match. Restore puts a false positive back into the redacted text. When the model replies and keeps the markers, paste that reply into the same tool: legend placeholders become the original values again, still only in this tab.

What it does not guarantee

  • It does not catch every single first name, nickname or free-form address.
  • It is not a DPIA and it does not replace a human review before you send anything.
  • It does not store the text: a refresh drops the legend.
